In 1989 ، as part of efforts to preserve and revitalize the historical fabric of Kashan, one of the historic houses in the Mohtasham Street area—dating back to the Qajar era—underwent restoration, revival, and reconstruction. Carried out to the highest architectural and engineering standards, it showcased one of the most outstanding examples of historic house restoration in Iran. This complex, now known as Manouchehri House, has received commendations from relevant authorities for its preservation of cultural heritage and is currently one of the most active cultural-historical establishments in Kashan. In 2016, Manouchehri House was nominated for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, one of the most prestigious international architecture awards. The Manouchehri Cultural Complex, located in the heart of Kashan’s historic district, is one of the remaining masterpieces of traditional Iranian architecture, dating back to the late 18th century. Following the great earthquake of Kashan in 1778 AD, the house underwent three phases of reconstruction. The latest major restoration and revitalization project began in 2005 AD and was completed in 2008 AD with exceptional precision and craftsmanship The lobby of the Manouchehri House Hotel is a charming space with authentic Persian architecture, featuring high ceilings, arched alcoves, and wooden doors with stained glass. As part of its commitment to preserving and revitalizing the art of traditional weaving, Manouchehri Hotel has dedicated a section of its space to textile workshops equipped with velvet and brocade looms.  Guests can visit these workshops, observe skilled artisans at work, and experience the rich heritage of Iranian art and heritage The handicraft shop at the Manouchehri House offers a curated selection of exquisite textiles woven in its dedicated workshops, alongside a variety of handcrafted pieces from skilled artisans across Iran. This shop provides a unique opportunity for art and craft enthusiasts to take home a cherished piece of Iranian culture and heritage The second building of Manouchehri House was restored in 2016 and added to the complex. This building, which represents three different architectural periods from 1821 to 1951 AD, includes twelve guest rooms, a restaurant, weaving workshops, and the Manouchehri Textile Museum Our story is woven into a profound love for traditional Iranian textiles.The vision behind the restoration of this complex is the step-by-step creation of a textile museum in the city of Kashan. As we expand, we use historical spaces to exhibit selected works from the Manouchehri Textile Collection, revive traditional weaving techniques, recreate old pieces, organize seminars and educational workshops Dig  Restaurant, located on the ground floor of the second house, welcomes guests for delightful breakfast, lunch, and dinner .
